Cultural SPF for Times Ahead!
November 13-18, 2024
Put on your SunHAT and roam The Ringling for unexpected, interactive, and delightful Eco-Performance! This eco-takeover features five different performances plus a Mushroom Dinner! Experience our signature innovative, global, and provocative performances while illuminating issues of ecology, climate change, and environmental justice.
EcoPerformance celebrates the creative force of the non-human and our connection to the natural world while addressing climate emergencies through artist-driven stories. The audience will be delighted by site-specific-fungi dance, engaged in artist talks under the banyans, raving to vegan rap, and laughing with water-conscious clowns. For professional tree huggers and recreational eco-enthusiasts alike, this festival will honor our beautiful coast and green spaces, investigate climate realities, and dream up resilient Florida futures. Artists and collaborators include national and international line up of performers, scholars, and speakers. Grab your shades and leave your eco-anxiety at the door for this week-long campus-wide eco-get-down.
Pay What You Wish Pricing
With the exception of the Mushroom Dinner, all festival performances offer Pay What You Wish pricing. We believe issues of the environment concern citizens of all ages, in every community and from all walks of life. This pricing structure will allow you to attend shows at the daringly affordable price of 99¢ per show with an option to contribute more if you wish. Plan your festival today, with the help of the “Schedule at a Glance” below.
